Hello everyone!
I am excited to share that I have been working hard on updating the website over the last couple of weeks and now you can access the mp3s of backing tracks for the growing number of songs on youtube - including the ever popular "Fruit Canon". In the classroom, I have been working on incorporating high quality songs that are linked to the topics I teach and - with a spare weekend on hand - I sat down to write the newest addition! In Year 4, we have been completing a musical topic based on Water. I love this topic as it gives so much scope for listening to a range of evocative music, composing and performing! So, I have added another feather to the bow and we now have some Water singing too! In the form of a 3 part round which I have affectionately called the Water Canon (see what I did there?!) You can check it out on youtube and if you want to download a backing track or a lead sheet for this (or other) songs - check out the new improved website!
